2030 Nutrition
Project

Our Work & Impact

Capacity Building

We offer training in health nutrition(including meal preparation) to parents and care givers through under five clinics in selected clinics. Over 150 women have been trained since June, 2019. We also train university students as Nutrition Ambassadors.

Networking

We host networking events on food security and traditional diets. We connect young people to policy-makers,  government leaders, and nutrition experts to charter a new path for the future of sustainable food post the COVID-19 pandemic.

Awareness

Our Nutrition Youth Ambassadors together with  nutrition experts spearhead our radio, TV, and community education and awareness programmes. Since June, 2019 over 1200 community members have been reached with key messages on nutrition health.

Meet The Team

Khazana Kimberly Sihwaya -Founder
Khazana Sihwaya, was at an early age bewildered by the yawning levels of social inequality that is reflective in access to proper health and nutrition in Zambia and the African continent. To help reduce this burden, she founded the 2030 Nutrition Project after finishing a prestigious placement at the University of Delaware- the Study of the US Institute for Female Student Leaders(SUSI) supported by the US State Department. As a medical student, she brings in a wealth of expertise and experiential knowledge on health and nutrition.
